Yet another "travel trailer living" article

Found this on Google News. A family in Florida couldn't find work so they bought an RV, camped their way to CO and are starting to get back on their feet. Meanwhile they're trying their best to avoid government assistance. Too bad more people aren't like that these days.

I hear you, but if they spent the last 20 years working and paying for other people not to work then I wouldn't feel so bad about them getting some of their money back.

I'm not going soft and liberal or anything, but I've put a LOT of money into the system and I'd like to get some back out myself.

I used to argue with the John Birchers about taking Social Security. My Bircher friend said he would never touch it. I said I put money to these bastards for many years and I will get back whatever I can. And now that America is done, I feel very justified.

I agree - why not take every cent that you can get back out? You spend your whole life paying taxes and you feel bad about getting unemployment? It's not charity - its reclaiming what was yours in the first place.
