If you're buying gold, you must keep this handy to detect the fake ones. Just make sure that you get a kit that does 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k and silver at the minimum. The Urban Survivalisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02152463957382927413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-66552201328520859472010-11-21T12:52:39.129-07:002010-11-21T12:52:39.129-07:00I was curious about what kind of test kit you had ...I was curious about what kind of test kit you had and how you liked it.Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09612373437033635765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-52167230819424916622010-11-15T08:24:06.429-07:002010-11-15T08:24:06.429-07:00We found your site through another person, and wou...We found your site through another person, and would like to advertise on your site, but saw no way of getting in touch with you.

Please call us at 877-886-3653

Our website is www.directive21.com and we offer Berkey Water Filters and other preparedness products.

JeffJeffhttp://www.directive21.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-19151989975105200862010-11-11T13:29:40.627-07:002010-11-11T13:29:40.627-07:00I just toss it on ebay when I get a good sized pil...I just toss it on ebay when I get a good sized pile. The biggest mistake that people make when they're arguing whether or not gold will be "worth anything" is that they think that they'll be taking their gold coins down to the grocery store to buy a loaf of bread. That's not how it works now and it probably won't work that way anytime soon. You take your gold to someone who knows what it's worth and is willing to give you money for it (or whatever the recognized standard for trade is) and then you go buy what you need. The Urban Survivalisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02152463957382927413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-60296111370198301622010-11-07T09:31:44.764-07:002010-11-07T09:31:44.764-07:00Off the top of my head,I'd assume that the aci...Off the top of my head,I'd assume that the acid in your test kit is probably aqua regina,as it dissolves the gold in the same way.
My other issue would be how to prove its purity to someone without the kit.
Dean in azAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-4080125520648185452010-11-07T07:25:31.794-07:002010-11-07T07:25:31.794-07:00I don't like gold leaf or plated/filled jewelr...I don't like gold leaf or plated/filled jewelry. Some filled jewelry has enough gold in it to be worth something but for the most part it's not worth the space. It's also not worth the time and effort to extract the gold unless you plan on doing it a lot. Everything that I've read about gold recovery is that it's dangerous, uses highly toxic chemicals and shouldn't be tried unless you have a facility dedicated to it. Of course, there are a lot of guys out there who are doing it themselves. I'm sure that some of it is just overhyped propaganda from the people who do it for a living to discourage normal joe from trying it in their garage. Then again, some of the chemicals used to do it efficiently really are bad juju. There are safer, less efficient means of doing it but I have absolutely no idea how much money there is to be made. If anyone has any experience with it I'd love to hear from you! artyboy at gmail dot com.The Urban Survivalisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02152463957382927413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-91824173189738146402010-11-06T12:22:40.897-06:002010-11-06T12:22:40.897-06:00I've picked up some gold leaf off ebay.I'm...I've picked up some gold leaf off ebay.I'm wondering if I should purify it with aqua regina.I think it would be good on gold plate and such.
Dean in azAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
