I heard about the...Don't expect much to be left... I heard about the sale the day before I went in to check it out. I got the last LED lantern that they had left. They had a couple of lanterns with the CFL bulbs but I wasn't too impressed with those. They're twice as big (and heavy) and they use twice as many batteries for half the run time. The quality of light may have been a bit better if you don't like the harsh white light of LEDs, though. The Urban Survivalisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02152463957382927413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-11240115087583520342009-01-18T19:57:00.000-07:002009-01-18T19:57:00.000-07:00Thanks for yet another reminder-- LED lantern is n...Thanks for yet another reminder-- LED lantern is now on my "gotta get" list. The wind up handle broke on one of them. I only paid $2 for that one and it still runs off of batteries so no biggie. The light has never worked on the other one but I bought it for the radio so I'm not too worried about it, either. I keep thinking about getting one of those $10 3 packs of wind up flashlights but I just haven't had any good experiences. I've been thinking about taking my broken one apart and making a small wind turbine out of the dynamo motor just to see if I can get one to work on a small scale. The Urban Survivalisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02152463957382927413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359115408034187666.post-697689917329403302009-01-17T22:08:00.000-07:002009-01-17T22:08:00.000-07:00I have been hoarding flashlights for sometime now,...I have been hoarding flashlights for sometime now, I can't get enough of them.
